COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                July 28, 2009


The Commissioners met in special session on the above date at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Room, basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho.

Present at the meeting were Chairman Larry Rose, Commissioners Arlie Shaw and Connie Cruser. Also present was Clerk Marsa Plummer.

The special session was called to meet to discuss the proposed 2010 budget.

The proposed revenue was discussed.

Treasurer Rose Plympton appeared before the Board to discuss the cuts to the Treasurer’s budget. The extra help line item was discussed and Treasurer Plympton asked for the line item to be $8,000.00. Treasurer Plympton asked that other line items also be increased to run the office efficiently.

Motion by Shaw, second by Rose, to recess for lunch.

Regular session resumed. Prosecutor Kristina Schindele was present.

Motion by Rose, second by Cruser, to go into Executive Session pursuant to I.C. 67-2345(b) to discuss personnel issues.

CRUSER - AYE Motion carried and so ordered.

Regular session resumed. No action was taken as result of the Executive Session.

Discussion followed on the proposed 2010 budget. Revenue was reviewed. The Fair budget and Justice Fund was reviewed.

Motion by Cruser, second by Shaw, to sign and send a letter regarding health coverage to a former employee.
