COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                July 23, 2009


The Elmore County Commissioners met in special session at 10:00 a.m. on the above date in the Commissioners Room, basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho.

Present at the meeting were Chairman Larry Rose, Commissioners Arlie Shaw and Connie Cruser. Also present was Clerk Marsa Plummer.

The special session was to work on the proposed 2010 fiscal year budget.

The following budgets were discussed: Glenns Ferry Police Department and Sheriff’s Department.

Motion by Rose, second by Shaw, to go into Executive Session pursuant to I.C. 67-2345(a) to discuss a personnel matter.

CRUSER - AYE Motion carried and so ordered.

Regular session resumed. A letter will be drafted as result of the Executive Session.

Discussion followed on the Sheriff’s Budget and Jail Budget.

Motion by Shaw, second by Cruser, to recess for lunch.

The Assessor’s Office Budget was discussed. Assessor Jo Gridley was present. Employee salaries were discussed regarding position changes.

Motion by Rose, second by Shaw, to approve the purchase of a vehicle for the Assessor’s department.

At 5:29 p.m., motion by Shaw, second by Cruser, to adjourn.
