COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                July 15, 2009


The Elmore County Commissioners met in special session on the above date at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room, basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho.

Present at the meeting were Chairman Larry Rose, Commissioners Arlie Shaw and Connie Cruser. Also present was Clerk Marsa Plummer.

The special session was called to work on the proposed 2010 County Budget.

Mir Seyedbagheri, Extension Agent, came before the Board to present the County Agent, Noxious Weed and Pest Control budgets. Discussion followed on postage, fuel, and printing expenses.

Donations to other entities were discussed.

Jo Gridley came before the Board to present the budgets for the Assessor and Revaluation departments. Discussion followed on employees that will be changing positions in her office. The current condition of the Assessor’s vehicles was discussed.

Motion by Cruser, second by Rose, to recess for lunch.

CRUSER - AYE Motion carried and so ordered.

Regular session resumed.

The Extension Agent’s budgets were discussed regarding fuel, meals, miles, and lodging.

The Growth and Development Department budget was discussed. Line items were reviewed and adjusted.

The Glenns Ferry Police Department Contract was discussed.

At 4:28 p.m., motion by Rose, second by Shaw, to adjourn.
