COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                March 25, 2009

The Commissioners met in special session on the above date in the Commissioner’s Room, basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho.

The special session was called to meet to discuss the Joint Powers Agreement between Elmore County and Elmore Medical Center on the Ambulance Service.

Present at the hearing were Chairman Larry Rose, Commissioners Connie Cruser and Arlie Shaw. Also present was Prosecuting Attorney Kristina Schindele, Clerk Marsa Grimmett, Greg Maurer, Administrator, Elmore Medical Center, and Jay Friedly, Attorney for Elmore Medical Center.

A lengthy discussion followed on the Joint Powers Agreement and the financial arrangements for expenditures. The oversight committee referenced in the Agreement was discussed. The Joint Powers Agreement will be modified to reflect changes agreed upon.

Bonnie Sharp, Growth and Development Director, appeared and gave the Commissioners Robert Knight’s resignation. Mr. Knight was a Planner II in the Growth and Development Department. The Board instructed Ms. Sharp to give the letter to Payroll Clerk Linda Pickett to put in Mr. Knight’s employee personnel file. Ms. Sharp stated she would continue to work a few hours each day until the new Director starts and has been introduced to the projects the Department is working on.

Motion by Shaw, second by Cruser, to adjourn.
