COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                July 31, 2008


The Elmore County Commissioners met in special session on the above date in the Commissioner’s Room, basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho.

Present at the meeting were Chairman Arlie Shaw, Commissioners Larry Rose and Connie Cruser. Also present was Clerk Marsa Grimmett.

The special session was to meet to discuss the proposed 2009 Elmore County Budget.

The Justice portion of the budget was reviewed. The Sheriff was phoned but was unavailable to come to the meeting. The Commissioners will set up a meeting with the Sheriff to discuss and finalize his budget.

Vacation accrual was discussed in reference to the proposed resolution defining vacation leave, sick leave and probationary time. Accrued vacation over a certain hour limit will have to be used by a date to be determined later.

Motion by Cruser, second by Rose, to adjourn.
