COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                July 29, 2008


The Commissioners met in special session on the above date in the Commissioner’s Room, basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho.

Present at the meeting were Chairman Arlie Shaw, Commissioners Larry Rose and Connie Cruser. Also present was Clerk Marsa Grimmett and Prosecuting Attorney Kristina Schindele.

Motion by Shaw, second by Cruser, to go into Executive Session pursuant to I.C. 67-2345(f) to discuss pending litigation issues.

CRUSER - AYE Motion carried and so ordered.

Regular session resumed. No action was taken as result of the Executive Session. A small recess was taken.

Back in regular session the Commissioners continued their budget workshop on the proposed 2009 County Budget. The liquor tax revenue was reviewed along with the Junior College budget.

The Planned Communities, Planned Unit Developments and Planned Unit Development Districts regarding revenue and expenses were discussed.

Various department budgets were reviewed regarding expected revenue. The Commissioners will meet on Thursday, July 31, 2008 to continue discussion on the proposed budget.

Motion by Rose, second by Cruser, to adjourn.
