COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                 September 14, 2007

The Commissioners met in special session on the above date in the Commissioner’s Room in the basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho.

Present at the meeting were Chairman Larry Rose, Commissioners Connie Cruser and Arlie Shaw. Also present was Clerk Marsa Grimmett and Civil Attorney Richard Roats.

Adam and Allen Crane, Snake River Rubbish, LLC came before the Board to discuss the Glenns Ferry Sanitary Landfill Operations Contract and the Elmore County Trash Hauling Contract.

The current contract that the Crane Brothers assumed was reviewed. Attorney Roats will email a copy of the changes made in the proposed contracts to the Crane Brothers for review, and the Crane Brothers will prepare a proposal of their costs and the issue will be revisited soon.

The Area of City Impact was discussed. The City has adopted their ordinance setting the boundaries they would like, the Prosecutor was asked what the procedure would be for the County. The Prosecutor stated she would research the question and get back to the Board on Monday, September 24, 2007.

The County Clerk brought the Certificate of Levies before the Board.

Motion by Rose, second by Cruser, to certify the 2007 levies for all the taxing districts.
