COMMISSIONERS MINUTES                                                           MAY 28, 2004


The Elmore County Commissioners met in special session on the above date in the Commissioner’s Room, basement of the Elmore County Courthouse, 150 South 4th East, Mountain Home, Idaho. The purpose of the special meeting was to canvass the May 25th primary election and to have a budget workshop for the Sheriff’s budgets.

Present at the meeting were Chairperson Mary Egusquiza-Stanek and Commissioners Larry Rose and Calvin Ireland. Also present were Clerk Gail Best and her elections deputy, Vivian Garcia.

The Board reviewed the poll books and the election reports provided by the election department. Motion by Egusquiza-Stanek, second by Ireland, to accept the canvass of the May 25, 2004 primary election as presented.

ROSE - AYE
IRELAND - AYE Motion carried and so ordered.

Sheriff Rick Layher appeared before the Board for a budget workshop. Also present was Merrilee Hiler of the Auditor’s office. Budget workshops were held for the Sheriff’s Department, Jail, Dispatch and the Glenns Ferry Police Contract.

Motion by Egusquiza-Stanek, second by Rose, to adjourn the meeting.
