COMMISSIONERS MINUTES
JANUARY 15, 2004
The Elmore County Commissioners spoke by telephone on the above date to conduct
a vote. The vote was needed by the County Clerk to conform with Idaho Code
34-301 which states that the 15th of January is the last date the County
Commissioners have to establish election precincts for the 2004 election cycle.
Motion by Ireland, second by Egusquiza-Stanek, to change the addition of the
former Camas precinct to the Pine precinct, and instead add the former Camas
precinct to Mountain Home #7.

MOUNTAIN HOME PRECINCT #7
THAT PORTION OF ELMORE COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Beginning at a point on the County Line in Section 1, Township 2 South, Range 11
East, proceeding westerly along the prominent ridge line dividing the Malad
River and Camas Creek drainage area from the King Hill Creek drainage area;
thence to the peak of Bennett Mountain; thence proceeding north and westerly
along an unnamed road to junction with Highway 20; thence proceeding along
Highway 20 to intersection with American Legion Boulevard; thence proceeding
along American Legion Boulevard to intersection with 10th East Street; thence
north along 10th East Street to the intersection with 10th North Street; thence
east on 10th North street to 18th East Street; thence north on 18th East Street
to the northeast corner of Section 1, Township 3 South, Range 6 East; thence
westerly one-half mile; thence northerly along an old trail to junction with
feeder canal and Canyon Creek Road; thence northerly along Canyon Creek Road to
junction with Flying H Road; thence north along Flying H Road to Case Creek;
thence to the junction with Willow Creek; thence easterly along an old road to
South Fork of Boise River and Trail Creek in Section 9, Township 1 North, Range
7 East; thence southerly along south bank of South Fork of Boise River to
Danskin Bridge; thence southerly along South Fork Road to a point between Rough
Creek and Dive Creek; thence northerly and northeasterly along the ridge to
House Mountain; proceeding along House Mountain Road to the junction with Meadow
Creek; thence northeasterly along Meadow Creek Road to the junction with Fall
Creek Road; thence southerly and easterly along Fall Creek Road to junction with
Lester Creek Road; thence following Lester Creek Road passing Sloan Gulch Road
to Lake Creek Road; southerly along Lake Creek Road to the crossing of Lester
Creek; thence southerly along the meander line of Lester Creek to the projected
point at the middle of Anderson Ranch Reservoir; proceeding along projected line
northeasterly through middle of Reservoir to its junction with Lime Creek;
thence easterly along meander line of Lime Creek to the confluence of the North
Fork of Lime Creek and the Middle Fork of Lime Creek; thence northeasterly along
Middle Fork of Lime Creek to the County Line; thence southerly along the County
Line to the point of origin.
PINE PRECINCT
THAT PORTION OF ELMORE COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Beginning at a point in Section 33, Township 5 North, Range 12 East on the
eastern County Line at the prominent ridge dividing the Middle Fork of the Boise
River drainage area from the South Fork of the Boise River drainage area.
Proceeding westerly and northwesterly along said ridge to the junction with
James Creek Road, then in a southwesterly direction along James Creek Road to
the point said road intersects with Rocky Bar Road. Thence northwesterly on
Rocky Bar Road to the junction with Phifer Creek Road and Trinity Ridge Road.
Thence southwesterly along Trinity Ridge Road and Fall Creek Road to the
junction with Lester Creek Road. Proceeding southeasterly and northeasterly
along Lester Creek Road to its junction with Sloan’s Gulch Road and Lake Creek
Road. Southerly along Lake Creek Road to crossing of Lester Creek; thence
southerly along the meander line of Lester Creek to projected point at middle of
Anderson Ranch Reservoir. Proceeding along projected line northeasterly thru
middle of Reservoir to its junction with Lime Creek, thence easterly along the
meander line of Lime Creek to the confluence of the North Fork of Lime Creek and
the Middle Fork of Lime Creek. Thence northeasterly along the Middle Fork of
Lime Creek to the County Line, and thence northerly along the County Line to the
point of origin.
