Important information and dates about the November 7, 2017 Consolidated Election

The last day to pre-register to vote is October 13, 2017.

In-person absentee voting begins on October 16, 2017.

The last day for a properly registered voter to request to have an absentee ballot mailed to him/her is October 27, 2017 at 5:00 pm.

The last day to in-person absentee vote is November 3, 2017 at 5:00 pm.

 No voting is allowed on Monday, November 6, 2017.

The polling places will be open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Election Day.

Not all voters are eligible to vote in the November 7, 2017 elections.  Eligible voters must live inside the boundaries of at least one of the following Taxing Districts:

City of Glenns Ferry

City of Mountain Home

 Mountain Home Rural Fire Protection District

Western Elmore County Recreation District

We are not using all of the precincts/polling places.  Listed below are the precincts/polling places for this election:

Glenns Ferry voting at Glenns Ferry City Hall

Mountain Home 1 and Mountain Home 8 voting at the LDS Church at 790 S Haskett

 Mountain Home 2 and Mountain Home 3 voting at the Senior Citizens Center

Mountain Home 4 and Mountain Home 7 voting at the LDS Church at 1150 North 8th East

 Mountain Home 5 voting at the First Southern Baptist Church

Mountain Home 6 and Mountain Home 9 voting at the First Congregational Church

Hammett Precinct:
Only a small portion of the Hammett precinct is inside the Western Elmore County Recreation District.  Voters who live in the western “panhandle” of the precinct will vote at the Elmore County Courthouse 150 South 4th East Mountain Home, Idaho.  Contact the Election Department for further details.

 Anyone who needs to register to vote as a new voter, or to change your name or address must appear in person at the Courthouse to register and absentee vote or appear in person at your polling place on election day.   You will need photo identification and proof of residence.
